Position Information – Project Lead

Requirements

Responsibilities include:
  1. Perform all phases of carpentry work on high-end residential remodels/homes
  2. Direct & manage all sub-contractors & vendors on the job.
  3. Run weekly jobsite safety meetings
  4. Walk jobs with Supervisor and clients as scheduled.
  5. Manage the overall job schedule and budget for the job
  6. Responsible for job site safety
  7. Help mentor & train junior staff
Ideal candidate’s qualifications include:
  1. 5+ recent years of hands-on carpentry experience in residential remodeling/home building
  2. Ability to read blueprints
  3. Excellent people & communication skills
  4. Team player attitude
  5. Ability to multi-task
  6. Working knowledge of OUTLOOK or GMAIL, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel & Project
  7. Knowledge of the proper sequence of work in remodeling project/home build
  8. Basic knowledge of all trades working on jobsites, i.e. drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring, roofing, etc,
  9. Must live in the Yakima Valley (upper or lower)

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

  1. Help our Projects and Project Leads be successful by doing what it takes to get the job done.
  2. Assist and learn in framing, siding, decking, installing doors, windows, millwork/trim and cabinets, etc.
  3. Clean up, organize job site and materials

Ideal candidate’s qualifications include:

  1. 3-5 plus recent years of hands-on carpentry experience in residential remodeling/home building
  2. Excellent people & communication skills
  3. Team player attitude
  4. Ability to multi-task
  5. Willingness to learn
  6. Availability to work Monday – Friday 7-4:30 & scheduled OT (Late &/or Saturdays)
  7. Able to safely lift and/or move around construction materials (including cabinets)
  8. Reliable transportation
  9. Must live within the Yakima Valley (lower or upper).

  5. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook & Customer Management Software (ie: Builder Trend, CoConstruct or other)
  6. Resilient & hard working
